Personnel records: Notice
The University holds computerized personnel information on all members of its staff. In the summer of 1996 a Data Verification Survey was conducted, in which academic and academic-related staff in Council and General Board institutions were asked to check the accuracy of this information. In order to comply with the Data Protection Act, it has been agreed that all members of the academic, academic-related, and contract research staff should be given an opportunity to obtain a transcript of the information held on them in the computerized personnel system. Anyone wishing to take advantage of this should apply, either in writing or by e-mail, to Mrs J. Clarke, General Board Office, The Old Schools (e-mail JLG24@admin.cam.ac.uk). For reasons of security all replies will be dispatched by the postal system.
