Welcome to the Vice-Chancellor's Office
The Vice-Chancellor is the principal academic and administrative officer of the University. Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz was installed as the 345th Vice-Chancellor on 1 October 2010.
The Vice-Chancellor is nominated by the University Council (the principal executive and policy-making body) from among an international field, and elected by the Regent House - the University's governing body and electoral constituency, numbering around 4,600 academics and senior administrators.
