Summary

The vision driving medical imaging at Cambridge is to advance patient care and strengthen technology development, diffusion and adoption. The Imaging and Healthcare seminar will look at leading-edge research in the area and explore the future needs for medical imaging, image generation capture, transmission, connectivity, analysis, visualisation and the role of emerging technologies.

Throughout the day and over dinner at Queens' College, delegates had the opportunity to meet with industry leaders and the University's academic experts to debate and discuss ideas generated during the seminars. Delegates were addressed after dinner by a leading figure in the field.

The audience
This event was open to global and "Cambridge Phenomenon" companies alike. Previous Horizon events have included senior delegates from companies such as IBM, Unilever, GSK, BAE Systems, BT, Canon, ICI, Toshiba and many more across all industry sectors.
