What is CLEER?

Following a consultation exercise during 2009, the Research Operations Office developed a vision of what it intended to achieve by 2012:
- To be a centre of high quality advice and assistance in securing and administering external research funding, based on extensive knowledge and understanding of the aims of the University and its academic community and the interests of our research sponsors
- To be recognised as leaders in delivering the unique administrative responsibilities of research funding, continuously building confidence in our sponsors in the effective use of their funding and creating mutually beneficial working relationships with all our stakeholders
- To inspire and promote an environment of personal development, self- worth and quality service through all levels of staff in the Research Office, empowering each person with the knowledge and tools to meet the challenges of the future
