About The Business Improvement Team

A word from Linda Spinks – Business Improvement Team Leader
"The Business Improvement Team enables us to reinforce the benefits of Process Improvement, and to build on the platform provided by many of the systems that are in place across the University. My team and I look forward to working with other teams across the institution, helping them to recognise and implement improvements."

The role of the Business Improvement Team is to ensure all business processes support and enable the University's mission "to contribute to society through the pursuit of education, learning, and research at the highest international levels of excellence."
The Business Improvement Team will support colleagues to review, revise, and redesign business processes, so that they can deliver business in the most efficient and effective way. Our aim is to help colleagues deliver high quality service together with value for money.
We can offer skills in business analysis, business process mapping, and business process improvement, guidance on preparation of business cases, cost benefit analyses, and project management, and advice on how to measure success and maximise benefits.
We support the Mission and values of the University of Cambridge
