Management Information Services Division
Welcome to the Management Information Services Division
Our staff manage the University’s central administrative computing systems, and provide computing support to staff in the Unified Administrative Service.
The development services team maintains University-wide systems including payroll, personnel, student records and the University Finance System (UFS). Within development services, the web services team provide advice on best practice and work closely with colleagues from the University Computing Service and the Office of Communications to provide centralised web information to members of the University and to external audiences.
The Desktop Services team maintains a network of over 1200 personal computers in the central administration. As well as providing routine support for these machines, the team provides professional backup and recovery facilities and antivirus protection plus helpdesk support to all customers.
