International Strategy Office
Welcome to the International Strategy Office
The International Strategy Office acts as the central administrative support and front office for the University's international collaborations.
The Office provides strategic advice and briefings to the Vice-Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellors and other senior academic leaders in areas where the University seeks to assess University-level collaborations and partnerships.
The Office advises the Schools, faculties and departments in developing and scaling up international collaborations. The Office has responsibility for ensuring appropriate due diligence with respect to international agreements, and for implementing other aspects of the General Board protocol on international agreements.
The Office also deals with University-wide strategic partnerships, monitoring and implementation of agreed international strategies, co-ordination of overseas visits by senior University representatives and inward visits by senior overseas delegations, and engagement with national and international agencies.
The International Strategy Office coordinates activities arising from the University's membership of international consortia including the International Alliance of Research Universities and the League of European Research Universities.
