Grading and Reward

Grading and Reward are a specialist service within the Human Resources Division and are responsible for assessing the duties of a new or existing post to enable it to be assigned a grade.

The duties of a post are assessed using a job evaluation scheme called HERA (Higher Education Role Analysis). Further information on job evaluation is available from Acas (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service).
