Admissions Interviewing online
The Senior Tutors' Committee expects all new interviewers to undertake training in advance of conducting admissions interviews. This online course is complemented by workshops which provide interviews in cognate subject groupings with opportunities to put these principles and methods into practice, and to review points of interest with peers and with an Admissions Tutor in a related subject. This online course is to be completed in advance of attendance on the Admissions Interviewing workshop.
How to use this course
You will need a Raven password to access this course.
This course has a number of features that allow you navigate the content easily.
- You can find a heading or subject matter by searching the two-tier menu on the left. First, select the area that you would like to find out more about, followed by the second tier page title.
- Some pages will allow you to step backward and forward through information by selecting next and previous.
- Some pages will require you to select links or action boxes. These will display new information in pop-up boxes that you can close by selecting the ‘X’ once you have read the information.
- Finally, some pages will ask for your opinion. You can type this into the free text field on the page and record it by selecting submit.
