Reporting on students' work: Human Resources Division: PPD

Reporting on students' work

Supervisors are required to write reports on all their students and to tell the college the hours they have worked. The electronic reporting system, CamCORS, allows you to write reports online, and facilitates prompt payment from colleges. You need to register to use CamCORS, and have a RAVEN password to access it, but once registered, you will have your own identity within the system, regardless of the number of colleges for which you supervise.

Reports for all students may be set up immediately; a record of supervisions and ongoing notes may be kept in draft form. These notes may be used as the basis for the report (submitted roughly two weeks before the end of term), but please note that final report, once submitted, is available to the student.

Directors of Studies and personal tutors may also be contacted through email links via CamCors. Do not use the report form or email to communicate confidential material: in general, this is best done in direct conversation or by telephone.
