Arranging for a PHEP peer observation session
If you would like one of your lectures to be observed and discussed informally, the Academic Adviser for PHEP is available to arrange a session. Please e-mail to agree a mutually convenient time.
Clear aims for the session are important, and here below are listed some questions and the information that you are asked to provide beforehand.
- Background (a few words about you, your level of experience, etc.)
- How does your lecture fit in with other teaching? (is it a one-off, or part of a series? How many students? What level?)
- What would you like to achieve?
- Which are the particular aspects that you would like feedback on?
The session is best discussed immediately afterwards. Feedback is confidential, and aims to identify areas for you to develop in the future.
