Projects and initiatives
Learning and Development leads on or contributes to several development related projects and initiatives, including Career Pathways, staff review and development, recruitment and induction.
We work directly with institutions and also with HR Business Managers to respond to local priorities in Schools and departments/faculties. This includes design and delivery of training and development which addresses specific needs as well as supporting departments/faculties with carrying out development needs analysis.
The Academic Practice group undertakes activity with Departments to adapt and/or deliver development which addresses local priorities and practices. We are also currently playing a major role in key initiatives such as the UK Concordat to support the career development of researchers.
