LGBT staff page

The LGBT Network is open to all LGBT staff members of Departments, Faculties, Colleges and Units.

The Network grew out of the staff consultation carried out in 2006. A Steering Group was formed, composed of people who had taken part in that consultation and volunteered to help carry out the report recommendations.

To date the Network has been largely social but over time it will develop to support LGBT staff and to act as a forum for consultation between staff and the University. Anybody wishing to join the Steering Group or help in other ways should contact Gina Bosselman ().

The Network held its first gathering in the top bar of B-Bar, Market Passage, in July 2007. The event was well supported and appreciated. The Steering Group intent to hold such events regularly — the top bar will be reserved exclusively. Details of future events are posted on the events page.
