Support for Award Holders

This section contains administrative information for holders of AHRC or ESRC awards at the University of Cambridge. If you are funded by one of the other Research Councils please contact your department for more information in the first instance.

Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC)

The AHRC will not pay your award directly to you but will send all payments via the Board of Graduate Studies. The scholarships team at the Board of Graduate Studies is responsible for handling payments for maintenance and extra allowances (your college will handle the payment of your fees direct with the AHRC).

Economic and Social Research Council

You should not need to contact the ESRC directly at any time during the lifetime of your award. All administration is carried out via the ESRC Co-ordinator at the Board of Graduate Studies.
