Welcome to the Board of Graduate Studies
The Board of Graduate Studies is the central body responsible for the admission, registration and approval of the University’s graduate students. The Board meets ten times a year, during term time.
The administrative team in Mill Lane acts as a central point of enquiry for students from the UK and around the world who are considering graduate study at the University of Cambridge. We produce the graduate studies prospectus, and oversee the progress of graduate students once they have arrived in Cambridge. We offer guidance to them on University regulations and we manage their student fee payments, funding and liaison with the Research Councils.
We also administer higher doctorates and the PhD Degree by Special Regulations.
